Booking enquiries. When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we process the details you share (name, contact details, travel dates, number of guests) to answer your enquiry and manage your booking. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Guest reviews. If you leave a review, we store your display name, your review text, your star rating, the period of your stay and — only for verification — your email address. Your email is never published. Reviews are only shown publicly after we have verified them against our bookings. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Server logs. When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data (IP address, date and time, browser type) to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Third-party services
WhatsApp. If you use a WhatsApp button on this site, you leave our website and WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) processes your data under its own privacy policy. We only see the message you send us.
Email. Enquiries sent by email are processed by our email provider. We recommend not sending sensitive information by unencrypted email.
Maps. Our address link opens Google Maps in a new tab; Google processes your data there under its own privacy policy. No map content is embedded on this website.
4. Where your data is processed
The business is based in Zimbabwe, so booking and stay data is processed there. Where data is transferred between Zimbabwe, Germany and our service providers, we take care to protect it appropriately and only share what is necessary for your booking or enquiry.
5. How long we keep data
Enquiry and booking data is kept only as long as needed for your stay and for legal retention duties. Published reviews stay online until you ask us to remove them; the verification email address is deleted once the review is verified or no later than twelve months after submission.
6. Your rights
You can request information about your stored data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time — simply email booking@faraicircle.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the German federal state where the website operator is based.

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. Only technically necessary storage (for example your dismissal of an offer notice) is used.
